Europe to get a DMCA?

Up until now, only the USA has been subject to the pro-corporate DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act.) Unfortunatly for citizens in European Union member countries, there will soon be similar legislation in their countries. Information about the legislation and what our European readers out there can do can be found here. A sad day for consumers.
