If you like your metal served up hot with a steaming side of "technical", but find yourself gravitating to the extreme, look no further Psyopus. The band formed in 2002 around the inhuman skills of guitarist Christopher Arp (Arpmandude), who also plays with Hank III in Assjack and is probably best known as the guy who didn't get the Limp Bizkit deal (shows what they know!). |

"Stevie Ray Vaughan trapped in a woman's body with Janis Joplin screaming to get out." That's how blues guitarist Kelly Richey was described by one music critic, and it's a pretty good description! Solid songwriting, impassioned vocals, and a fierce guitar all add up to a sonic assault that is Kelly Richey. Add to that a live show that is non-stop intensity, and you've got yourself a winner. |

Joel Wanasek, the award-winning creator of the instructional web-site Insane Guitar and lead guitarist for the band Dark Shift, has been known in guitar circles for years as a top-flight player and instructor. He is also the owner of a successful recording studio, and produces dozens of musical acts a year. He has also decided to write a book to help others learn to play at their best - to become, pardon the phrase, all they can be. The book is "The Ultimate Guide to Becoming a Guitar Virtuoso". |

Dustie Waring plays guitar for the progressive metalcore band Between the Buried and Me. He is one half of the BTBAM guitar assault (along with fellow shredder Paul Waggoner), joining in 2005 after the exit of guitarist Nick Fletcher.
