The new Steve Stevens CD, "Memory Crash", is out and wow - what a ride!!! Best known for his work with Billy Idol and his Grammy winning theme song for the movie "Top Gun", Steve has been a force on the music scene for well over 20 years. This is his 3rd release (the other 2 were the must-have CDs "Bozzio, Levins, Stevens") for the guitar-centric label Magna Carta.

Guitarist and bandleader Jeff Healey dies in Toronto hospital
Following a lengthy struggle with cancer, Healey passes away on the eve of the release of a new blues rock album
Jeff Healey, arguably one of the most distinctive guitar players of our time, died today (Sunday March 2) in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Toronto. He was 41, and leaves his wife, Cristie, daughter Rachel (13) and son Derek (three), as well as his father and step-mother, Bud and Rose Healey, and sisters Laura and Linda.

Despite collecting an estimated several hundred million dollars in P2P related settlements from the likes of Napster, KaZaA and Bolt, prominent artists’ managers are complaining that so far, they haven’t received any compensation from the labels.
