TB: 1.Who is Jack Cornell? What was your first gig- the first time you got up in front of bunch of folks and did your thang? JC: Ahhhh, that first gig. Me and the mirror and the Beatles... oh wait, in front of people. Well, I played Pinocchio in a musical at school. That's all it took...starved for attention ever since. TB: 2.How do you approach songwriting , what/who inspires you- and how do you go about writing tunes? I asked T this, and I'll ask you: define for us what a well-constructed song is. JC: A friend once said 'Please don't bore us, get to the chorus.' That may be a little glib, but the construction of a song isn't always what grabs me. It is more how it impacts me and probably how it evolves over the performance. I am inspired by passion. TB: 3. Favorite musical gear? JC: The volume knob. TB: 4.Your favorite songs to do live? JC: The moment the band is locked in is my favorite song. TB: 5.What do you say to the dreamers who are out there jamming in the garage? JC: Listen to each other. TB: 6. Tell us about the site, any upcoming gigs, and about what the future holds.... JC: All of that is evolving, we plan on trying to keep it interesting and entertaining for us and the fans. Stop by and see... Terry Anderson and the Olympic Ass-Kicking Team. ---- Great meeting you all. Hope you cats show back up in the Bluegrass soon. --Tom Barnes (aka: Sgt__Vox) Add your comment
