Korn guitarist James Munky Shaffer would like to apologize to everyone that was offended by his comments he said.
In an interview with Metal Hammer magazine, Munky made a statement that referred to Hitler going to heaven. However, after stirring up a bit of trouble, the guitarist has retracted his statements. Shaffer has issued a statement saying he does not approve of Hitlers atrocities, adding, I apologize to anyone who was offended by my comments, which read confusingly in Metal Hammer.
In other Korn news, the groups label, Elementree, is on the hunt for raw, eclectic musical talent. During the current Korn tour the label will be accepting demo tapes from aspiring artists. Korn will hit Canada this fall.
