According to Much Music Ex Limp Bizkit, guitarist Wes Borland has given Fred Durst a stern warning against using any of his guitar riffs on any upcoming Limp Bizkit albums.
In a recent interview with Metal Hammer magazine, Borland has said: Those are still my riffs, and if they turn up somewhere else besides the Eat the Day record there will be a problem. Borland left the rap-rock outfit of Limp Bizkit last October and formed his own band, Eat The Day. This isnt the first sparks to fly in the press between the two former bandmates, earlier in the year Durst asked fans to email Borland directly and demand him to rejoin the band, Borland refused. Borland is currently recording a debut album for, Eat The Day with producer Ross Robinson. Robinson has previously worked with groups like Slipknot,Korn and Limp Bizkit. The Eat The Day album is expected to surface sometime before the end of this year.
