The VG Remixing community has been a little slow the last couple of weeks. Not too surprising, seeing as most people take months to remix a track. It's at the begining of most months that the new releases get posted.

So I'm searching along for some new tracks to add to my already 2GB's worth of videogame music when I come across OCRemix's spotlight section. Featured are the works of one Christopher Lee Getman, also known by his remixing name of Mazedude.

His current works are a tribute to the American videogame music composers, featuring such games as Myst, Doom, and Earthworm Jim and their sequals to name the games I've played. The full album, along with the dirt on the album, can be found at The American Album website.

Some great tunes to listen to here. Even if you aren’t big into videogames, I highly recommend Zapper's Freedom to all the people who like music (why are you here if you don't like music??) It's a remix on the tunes "Catherine's Freedom" and "Moeity" from Myst 2: Riven, assuming I've read the website right.

(Hey Mazedude, Congrats on being my first Videogame Remix Article)
