Ok, so I'm stoked to tell you all that Chrono Symphonic music arrangment is done. That would be the link. I know I said in my Auld Lang Sine posting that I'd do something from there, but I lied. Cry me a river, build a bridge, and jump off it. Chrono Trigger is better. Read more for some descriptions and the Random. Note: I'm feeling lazy, so this wasn't spellchecked or anything. If there's spelling, don't worry, "i no hwo to speel coretly gais :P" When this first started out I was stoked (to repeat a word). Fan works of this magnitude are few and far between. With the recent shut down of two game remakes, life was the suck (at least they were in somewhat good humors about it, signing off with the following quote from Magus, a character in the game... If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh. With news of the Music Arrangment being done, hope begins anew. A couple of familiar songs but the majority are new works. They have a torrent up for the people that like that kind of stuff. I recommend if you have it use it, it saves them bandwidth. If anything, go and watch the trailer. Onto the Random Music. My tune this month is Revelation of Fire, which can be found in the Remixes section of the Chrono Symphonic page. First Claado Shou's words on the song. He created the piece and deserves to do the piece justice. I really envisioned this song being the beginning of the new ideal for Crono and his friends they may have found this strange world of the future, and they may be forever changed by their experience thus far, but by viewing the video, they finally see that they now have a new purpose, and begin a journey to destroy Lavos for good. If you've played Chrono Trigger, you'll know what the crap he's talking about a little *mini Spoiler dead ahead* This tune is meant for the scene in which Chrono and co. are in the year 2300 A.D and are watching the video of Lavos destroying the world as we know it in 1999 A.D. It also goes along with them then resolving to take out Lavos at all costs. Lavos, who's been feeding on the planet's energy for about, oh *carries the 1* 65,001,999 years until it started to destroy the planet, not to mention the energy it had stored to get to the planet in the first place, is not the easiest thing to defeat. The beginings of the song, imagine a huge spiky reptile/turtle with spikes bigger than a five story building. Now imagin seeing this thing fire off those spikes, regrow more, fire, regrow, ect. ect. until it feels like stopping. Now imagine watching that scene and the carnage and destruction that goes along with it, knowing that in 1000 years that's going to happen, and there's jack shit you can do about it. Life sucks doesn't it? That sums up the first portion of this song quite well. Around 1:14 the video would probably end, and you'd be left to think about all this (Not to mention that Math final you have, I kid.) Now you resolve to do something about it. What are you going to do? Something at least, hell you have the power to time travel right? There's gotta be something! Fade out, end scene. Revelation of Fire. Listen, enjoy, check out the other works, watch the trailer, grab some popcorn if you feel like it: these guys deserve a little support for their hard work. Add your comment
