Louder is NOT better!

While reading the latest bits over at Dan's Data, I was linked to a great rant regarding a perceived trend in music: LOUDER IS BETTER. It's not something I have conciously noticed, but comparing an older Sepultura disc (Arise, if you must know, I love Orgasmatron) to the latest Slipknot, I certainly do notice a difference. An interesting, if not entertaining read.
