| PlayFair -- The Apple Strikes Back |
|

|
Earlier this week Apple forced the previous hosting company to remove the software under threat of DMCA action. With no legal recourse, SourceForge was left with no choice but to remove the software. The author of the software shortly found new hosting arrangments for the software in India by Sarovar.org, and it was good. However, Apple wasn't finished yet. Visitors to the new PlayFair website are now being greated by a rather generic 404 'File Not Found' error. A story on Slashdot points to a message board posting presumably from his host which includes Apple's nasty letter. The debate rages regarding which, if any, Indian laws the software breaks.
