Clear Channel Sell-off

Radio giant Clear Channel Inc. is selling itself off to a consortium of private investors and in the process will relieve itself of more than a third of its nearly 1,200 radio stations. The sale is valued at some $26.7 billion USD.

By selling off the the smaller stations, it is hoped that some good will come out of all of this. It has been reported time and time again that Clear Channel was just bad for business.
