Punk's home closing its doorsAn icon in American music becomes a part of history this weekend. CBGB
stood for country, bluegrass and blues, but the club put its mark on
musical culture as the launchpad for punk. Blondie, the Talking Heads
and the Ramones all played there in its halcyon days. Now the doors
