PlayLouder MSP is joining forces with broadband provider, Bulldog, to offer a royalty paying ISP that will allow customers to legally share files from select record companies.

PlayLouder MSP (Music Service Provider) has licensed music from a number of UK indie music labels XL Recordings, Beggars Group, V2 Music, PIAS Recordings and Ninja Tune. The service provider has inked a deal with MCPS-PRS, the licensing body that collects royalties on behalf of music publishers.

Trials for the service begin November 1st with full operation beginning early next year. PlayMusic director Paul Sanders believes the company will grow to reach roughly 40,000 subscribers paying £30 a month.
