Audiobubble is a great site to find music you've never heard before.
It began in early 2005, when two musicians, Shaun Russell and Tom
Chambers, decided to create a music service that was fair to artists
and fair to customers. Tired of puny 30 second previews, lack of
customer trust and lack of freedom for the artist, they created the
Audiobubble concept. We sell music from independent artists all in
mp3 format. We give you 2 full length previews before you buy, because
30 seconds isn't enough to fall in love with a great piece of music.
There's no DRM because we know that it's ineffective and restricting.
We value the artists on the site, so we give as much as we can to the
artists and we show you exactly where your money goes. We even work as
an agent for our artists, recommending the best artists on our sites
to independent labels.
I've only just taken a quick look at the site. DRM free is a big bonus, but they do seem a little lean on music content so far. Granted, it's quite new so I should go easy on them. -- Tin
